After Fridays games, we will be half way through the regular season! That is a crazy feeling. We wait all year long, it seems like, for the football season to begin and then it seems like in the blink of an eye it is over.
Last week, during our broadcast of another high school game on the radio, during our ‘keys to the game’ I said this: “Both teams lost last Friday night, so there won’t be a problem with over confidence. What both teams need is some confidence. How do you get that back? You win one play at a time. Don’t worry about who is going to win the game or if you get behind, just win one play at a time and do that all game long.”
